OJS allows to generate custom statistics reports (Public Knowledge Project online documentation).
The report generator can be found in Statistics > Reports in the journal's admin interface.
When creating and downloading a custom statistics report, you are prompted to download it in the form of a CSV file which can be opened in a spreadsheet application such as Microsoft 365 Excel or Libre Office Calc. In the spreadsheet there is a URL which is used to access the report and download it again later. This URL can also be modified to generate reports with similar settings.
This page let's you select year and journal and generates custom report URLs so you won't have to configure the settings of the report generator in our OJS instance.
You need to be signed in to your OJS account and have appropriate rights in the chosen journal for the report URL to work.
Note that you will only get data for a full year after the year is complete to meaningfully compare it to other years.
When selecting journal and year, a list of statistics reports will be populated:
Type | Journal | Count | Comments |
---|---|---|---|
Submission Files | Journal name | (number) | "Submission Files" in the report means "Fulltext downloads" – how many times during the chosen year visitors have clicked links to the full article text such as PDF, EPUB, XML or HTML views of all the journal's published content. The count given follows the COUNTER standard. |
Article | Journal name | (number) | "Article" in the report means "Article abstract page views – how many times during the chosen year abstract pages of all of a journal's published content has been shown. The count given follows the COUNTER standard." |
