Forfatteren må krysse av for at innleveringen oppfyller kravene som listes under. Innleveringer som ikke oppfyller disse, kan bli returnert til forfatteren.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  • A cover letter briefly describing the study's contribution, and why you think the readers of Professions and Professionalism would be interested in reading this particular article or essay.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • All illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end of the document.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Template
  • The instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed. See also specific instructions for Word on removing personal information from documents (innsida.ntnu.no).
  • The submission file size does not exceed 8 MB. Decreasing the size of e.g. a Microsoft Word document can be done by decreasing the resolution of the photos or changing the file format of the photos used, using a photo editing software like Photoshop or the freeware GIMP.
  • The author/s confirm that all relevant research ethics assessments have been made of the manuscript, and are willing to account for this upon request. (Also see the Guidelines from the national research ethics committees)
  • The text follows APA 7th referencing style.

Contributors to the journal should aim:

  • To develop the study of professions theoretically and empirically
  • To contribute to the development of the study of professions as an international interdisciplinary field of research
