Når øyet styrer hånden: Om mestringsprosesser i barnehagen

Undersøkelsen som ligger til grunn for denne artikkelen fokuserer på barnehagepersonalets rolle i barns tegneprosesser. Artikkelen belyser tegneprosesser hvor tilretteleggelsen for direkte visuell persepsjon i prosess har vært styrende for tegningens utforming. Barnet har hatt mulighet til visuelt å kontrollere tegningen opp i mot en modell. Følgende problemstilling utforskes: Hvordan tilrettelegger førskolelæreren for at barn i 3 - 5 års alderen kan ta i bruk ulike hjelpemidler når de tegner en form de ser, og hvordan bruker barn i 3 - 5 års alderen disse hjelpemidlene? Tre representative tegneprosesser laget i løpet av temaarbeidet "Meg selv" analyseres med teoretiske analyseredskap fra blant sosiokulturell teori. Resultatene sees på som et innlegg i en didaktisk diskusjon om variert tilrettelegging for tegning i barnehagen.
